You’ve Been Ducked!
If you are reading this post you most likely have been Ducked for “Having A Sweet Ride”. I genuinely hope the duck gave you a smile and that your day is full of life, love, and adventure.
Hello my name is Renne Foster and Welcome to my Duck, Duck, Jeep story. I am a highly experienced Realtor® who has spent over 22 years helping clients buy and sell homes in Arizona. You can find out more about my real estate history here.
In 2020 my husband and I moved to his hometown in the White Mountains of Arizona. I soon began working with Advantage Realty Professionals selling real estate in the beautiful White Mountains of Arizona. I quickly realized my vehicle from Phoenix, although nice, wasn’t suited for the terrain of the White Mountains. I looked around and decided to test drive a Jeep, something I never considered before. I was hooked as soon as I got behind the wheel. I was amazed at how comfortable it was to drive, and the way it rolled over terrain that would normally be bouncy in my SUV. Soon after that test drive I bought my first Jeep (pictured above). I quickly learned that the Jeep culture is strong. Fellow Jeep owners started waving at me while driving down the road, even though I didn’t know them? I have learned how to do the Jeep wave, its a thing.
Shortly after getting my Jeep I found a rubber duck on my Jeep. When I saw the first one I thought maybe a child left it on my Jeep by accident. However; after the second one showed up I began to get suspicious. Then one day I found a blue butterfly duck with a card on it that explained everything, or at least it gave me the clues to find out more about the Duck, Duck, Jeep origins. I had been learning more about the Jeep culture but when I read how the Duck, Duck phenomenon began and how it has morphed into a culture of kindness in the Jeep community, something we can all benefit from these days, I was inspired to begin Ducking Jeeps.
I hope this post brought a smile to your day and that you will continue to pass on the good vibes and be kind to one another out there.
